A colleague of mine sent me a link to an interesting article on the nullification movement. I have not fully developed my opinion on nullification yet, but I will say that it is about time that the States stand up to the Federal government for their encroachments on the constitutional powers reserved to the States and the people. I think that there are more pros than cons when it comes to nullification but the States need to take care and not abuse this movement or it will fail.
